As a Scout the adventures and challenges move onto greater heights, with opportunities to take on new activities and advance the skills already achieved. Advancing scouting and life skills such as leadership, team building, camping, fire lighting, cooking, first aid etc. We run an active and varied program including canoeing, potholing, archery. Scouts' activities are based upon having a balanced program. This includes games, cooking, badge work, team building, leadership training, hikes, wide games and much more. We hold a week long Summer Camp every year and in the past five years we have been to four Scout Activity centres in The New Forest, Gloucestershire, Cumbria and Oxford. With a troop structure based around a Patrol System, Scouts build on personal levels of responsibility, maturity and awareness. Scouts are fully supervised during activities by our qualified leader team.
